A Modern Twist: Savory Crispy Rice Cracker (Cơm Cháy)

Another popular variation is cơm cháy, made with leftover rice and topped with pork floss, scallions, and sweet fish sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • Cooked rice a mix of white and glutinous rice
  • Sweet fish sauce a blend of fish sauce, sugar, and vinegar
  • Toppings: pork floss chili, roasted peanuts

Instructions
 

  • Spread cooked rice on a tray, flatten it to a thin layer, and dry in an oven or dehydrator.
  • Cut into pieces and fry until golden.
  • Drizzle with sweet fish sauce and sprinkle toppings.
