Arepas Asadas (Grilled):
Heat a cast iron griddle or frying pan to medium heat.
Cook arepas for 3-4 minutes on each side until a crispy golden crust forms.
Optionally, finish them in a preheated oven at 400°F for 10-15 minutes.
Arepas Fritas (Fried):
Heat oil in a frying pan or deep fryer to medium heat.
Fry arepas for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Arepas Horneadas (Baked):
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Sear arepas on a griddle for 2-3 minutes per side, then bake for 20-30 minutes.
