Homemade Sesame Rice Cracker Recipe

- 3 cups rice e.g., Calrose or Jasmine
- 4.5 –5 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ cup black sesame seeds
Prepare the Batter:
Rinse and soak the rice overnight.
Blend the soaked rice with water until smooth. Add salt and mix.
Steam the Rice Paper:
Use a fabric ring or bamboo steamer for even cooking. Pour a thin layer of batter and steam for 3–4 seconds.
Add a second layer for thicker crackers.
Drying:
Dry the steamed rice paper under the sun or in a food dehydrator until crisp.
Toast or Fry:
Cook the dried rice paper in a microwave, oven, or over an open flame for a crunchy texture.
