How to Make Angel Hair Pasta Alfredo

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Pasta, angel hair pasta (broken in half for easier handling).
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil, extra virgin olive oil.
  • 4 cloves Garlic, crushed for a robust flavor.
  • 3 cups Chicken Broth: it forms the base of the sauce.
  • ¾ cup Cream: heavy cream for that velvety texture.
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese: freshly grated for maximum flavor.
  • ¼ tsp Seasonings: each of salt and pepper.
  • Optional Add-ins: Cooked shrimp, grilled chicken, or sautéed vegetables.

Instructions
 

  • Sauté Garlic: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and crushed garlic. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Prepare the Broth: Add chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  • Cook the Pasta: Break the angel hair pasta in half and add it to the skillet. Cover and simmer on medium-low heat for 6 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente.
  • Make the Sauce: Remove the skillet from heat. Stir in heavy cream and freshly grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  • Garnish and Serve: Top with fresh parsley or basil for added color and flavor.
