How to Make Garlic Parmesan Sauce

This recipe comes together in just 15 minutes, making it perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz. Parmesan cheese shredded
  • 1 tablespoon parsley finely chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Sauté Garlic: Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking for 1 minute.
  • Create a Roux: Stir in flour and cook for another minute until well combined.
  • Add Liquid: Slowly whisk in vegetable broth. Simmer until the sauce begins to thicken.
  • Incorporate Cream and Cheese: Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and parsley until smooth.
  • Season: Adjust with salt and black pepper. Serve immediately.
