Making Mortadella Pizza at Home

For a homemade version, try the following recipe inspired by classic Italian traditions:

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ball of pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • 140 g fresh mozzarella slivered
  • 4 slices of mortadella
  • 8 yellow date tomatoes halved
  • 1 burrata
  • 1 tbsp crushed pistachios
  • Olive oil and a pinch of sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Dough: Preheat your oven to 425°F. Stretch the pizza dough onto a lightly oiled pizza pan, ensuring an even thickness.
  • First Layer: Top the dough with slivered mozzarella and halved yellow date tomatoes. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
  • Bake: Place the pizza in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the mozzarella has melted.
  • Finish: Remove the pizza from the oven. Add fanned slices of mortadella, torn burrata, and crushed pistachios.
  • Serve: Slice and enjoy!
