Miso Morning Drink Recipe

For a more robust and flavorful start to your day:

Ingredients
  

  • 1 inch piece of ginger root (cut into coins)
  • 1 whole clove
  • 8 cups filtered water

Instructions
 

  • Combine mushrooms, ginger, clove, and water in a pot. Cover and bring to a boil.
  • Remove from heat and let steep for 5 minutes
  • Strain out the solids, leaving a flavorful broth
  • To prepare a single serving, heat 1 ½ cups of broth and stir in 1 ½ teaspoons of miso paste.
