Miso Morning Drink Recipe
For a more robust and flavorful start to your day:
- 1 inch piece of ginger root (cut into coins)
- 1 whole clove
- 8 cups filtered water
Combine mushrooms, ginger, clove, and water in a pot. Cover and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and let steep for 5 minutes
Strain out the solids, leaving a flavorful broth
To prepare a single serving, heat 1 ½ cups of broth and stir in 1 ½ teaspoons of miso paste.
